3X to 2X Conversion:
Mountain Double 36/22
These rings are designed for a 104/64mm BCD, 4 bolt crank attachment – like on a standard mountain bike compact crank. Some cranks with this bolt circle are made for the double – and these fit perfect. SRAM, FSA and others make cranks designed for 2 chainrings like these.
However, if you have a Mountain Bike Triple (3 chainrings), you can make the conversion to a 2X setup with these rings that love to shift.
The standard mountain bike triple crank can feature 3 rings as with our Triple Set, but if you prefer a mountain double, like many folks, these rings can make the conversion without buying a new crank. Get these rings with the Conversion Spacer Tabs – or use a Bash Guard to replace the large ring. Either way, converting from triple to double is simple and does NOT require a new crank!
Fast Shifting Chainrings
These are high-performance WickWerks chainrings made with our patented BRIDGE technology! The radical ramps give awesome shifting when you want it – perfect for a Mountain Double setup. Check out the pictures and see the many massive ramps that make WickWerks chainrings perform when shifting.
