Slow front shifting is boring, so maybe this Toe-In technique can help.

Fast shifting WickWerks rings are made to eliminate that problem, but, like any fine-tuned racing machine, there’s always a few tricks to make it just perfect.  Think of this as the icing on the cake.

Some Additional Information:

  • There are several other ways and reasons to adjust the front derailleur.  If you’d like to learn the basics, check out our front derailleur adjustment videos.  These skills may not solve all your problems, but it may give you just the tip you need to keep your bike running smoothly and out of the shop.
  • If you just switched to WickWerks chainrings and are still having shifting issues, refer to our Installation Instructions for tips and tricks.  To achieve the best shifting possible our rings require a little different setup than what’s “standard”.  You got this!  But you can always defer to your local bike shop if you don’t feel up to the task.  There’s no shame in asking for experienced help.  What really matters is that your bike functions smooth and fast … like a brand new smartphone.
